Is Stoneplot free to use?
Yes. Stoneplot is free and runs entirely in your browser — no install, no subscription. Sign in with an email or Google account to save drafts to your library and download cut files.
What file format does Stoneplot export?
Stoneplot exports a production-ready SVG cut file that works with Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, Brother ScanNCut and most cutting machines that accept SVG.
What stone sizes are supported?
Presets cover SS6 to SS30 (2 mm to 6.5 mm), plus fully custom sizes in millimetres. You can also mix multiple sizes in one design with the random size mode.
Can I use more than one stone colour?
Yes — up to 6 colours per design. Pick them from the palette or with a colour picker, then let random colour mode distribute them across your artwork automatically.
Does Stoneplot work for shirts, tumblers and nails?
Yes. Set the canvas to your material's actual size, choose a stone size, and the placement map is generated at true scale so the exported cut file matches your blank.
What are special stones?
Special stones are shaped stones — hearts, stars, drops and more. Place, rotate and scale them like regular stones to add accents on top of your pattern.
